Save Trees
SAVE TREES
All of my projects are based on a clean and minimal design that I have carried on by experimenting through different projects and developed from the start to the end of the semester. For this exhibition PAPER, I was asked to create many works relating to paper, as the main topic of work. My work demonstrates a strong use of different techniques that I have learned and produced.
This pattern shows different kinds of trees lined up together in perfect harmony. Alexander Beikos was exploring nature quite a lot last year and he decided to draw the trees and create a full pattern from them. They are drawn with pencil and then retouched with a sharpie to make it pop more. He discovered that 7 billion trees are cut down in the world every year. Much needs to be done to reduce this number for a sustainable future.
